Corinthian columns—symbols of victory and order that have been inserted into Latin American landscapes—are arranged into a ruinous, dreamlike composition. Cartoonishly pointing back to the origins of Western civilization and democracy, they reference both neoclassical authority and downloadable 3D models Their forms mimic the flattened visual language of digital renderings, collapsing into a staged fantasy of power undone.
